How to stop racism

1. Speak out against racism: Whenever you see or hear someone being racist, don’t be a bystander. Speak out against it and let them know it is not acceptable.

2. Educate yourself: Read books, watch documentaries and take classes that focus on racism and its history.

3. Educate others: Share your knowledge with others. Have conversations about racism and its effects with family, friends, and coworkers.

4. Support anti-racist organizations: Donate your time or money to organizations that are actively fighting racism.

5. Support minority-owned businesses: Show your support for minority-owned businesses by shopping at them and recommending them to your friends and family.

6. Challenge your own biases: Take a look at your own biases and prejudices and consider how they might be contributing to racism.

7. Vote: Support candidates who are committed to fighting racism.

8. Advocate for change: Contact your elected officials and urge them to support policies that address racism.

9. Stand up for others: If you see someone being discriminated against, take a stand and let them know that you are there for them.
